Collaborative knowledge sharing

Our work began with research and is still shaped by it. Collaborations can:

Generate new evidence on ecosystem recovery and livelihoods

Improve methods for community‑led monitoring and reporting

Inform better policy for blue carbon and biodiversity credits

We are particularly keen on projects that add value for local partners as well as global audiences. We welcome conversations with researchers across disciplines and backgrounds.

How to work with us

To explore a collaboration:

1

Share your idea

Get in touch

Send us a short outline of your research question or idea, proposed methods, timelines and any institutional partners.

2

Check fit and feasibility

We consider alignment with community priorities, capacity on the ground, and ethical guidelines.

3

Co‑design the approach

Where possible, we co‑design research so that communities are involved and benefit from the work.

We confirm volumes, price and timing, and align on how you will communicate your support.

4

Agree data sharing and outputs

We discuss how findings will be shared locally and globally, and how they will support better practice.

Who we've worked with

Thanks to our close partnership with Edinburgh Napier University and other research institutions, we have collaborated with multiple PhD students. Multiple students have visited the projects or worked with us in some way.
